Big Stick Surfing Association’s Annual Logjam! is ON, and we are looking forward to seeing you! Logjam! is the longest running classic surfing contest in the world – this is our 20th year !! Come help us celebrate! Come to watch! Come feel the Aloha!!
Logjam! annually attracts over 100 competitors ranging in age from 7 to 60+, from all over California. Contestants bring their cherished vintage “logs,” pre-1970 longboards weighing 20 lbs or more. They are surfed without a leash; truly a show of classic longboarding!
An official contest of the California Coalition of Surf Clubs, many clubs call it their favorite event of the year.
